Story Time with The Spirit
So, today Google is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Brothers Grimm. I figured, why should they have all the fun? So here’s one of Will Eisner’s famous ‘Fairy Tales for Juvenile Delinquents”, this one being a parody of "Hansel & Gretel". It’s a bit more mean-spirited than usual and not nearly as funny as his take on Cinderella (Where the Fairy Godmother is a fat gun moll and the “greatest castle in the land” is a maximum security prison), but it’ll do.
